Denis Bacina will join LPA-GGV as a local partner on September 1, 2024. The 49-year-old lawyer will work in the Frankfurt office and expand Dr. Leif Gösta Gerling’s team.

As of 1 September 2024, Denis Bacina will strengthen the M&A/Corporate team around Dr Leif Gösta Gerling at LPA-GGV’s Frankfurt office. Denis Bacina will join LPA-GGV as a local partner. With the arrival of the 49-year-old lawyer, the M&A/Corporate practice group continues its successful growth course. Denis Bacina has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, joint ventures and restructuring, with a particular focus on complex national and cross-border transactions, including distressed M&A.
In the course of his professional career in leading international law firms and consultancies, Denis Bacina has acquired extensive expertise in advising a wide range of clients. Among other things, he was involved for almost ten years in setting up the Corporate/M&A Legal department in the Frankfurt office of the Big Four law firm PwC Legal. Before joining RSM Ebner Stolz on 1 January 2020, Denis Bacina was a Salary Partner at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in Frankfurt and Munich.
He received the ‘Thomson Reuters Stand-out Lawyer’ award in 2024, a recognition based on nominations from clients for exceptional expertise and excellent service.

In addition to German, Denis Bacina is fluent in English, French and Croatian.
