Munich, 7 May 2015 – LPA has assisted the Australian investment bank Babcock & Brown on the sale of a retail portfolio to an international investor.

The retail portfolio consists of in total 9 properties, thereof 7 in Bavaria, one asset in North Rhine-Westphalia and one asset in Saxony. Among others, Aldi, Edeka, Norma and Kaiser’s Tengelmann are the tenants. The total rented area amounts to around 18,000 sqm.

The transaction volume is in the double-digit million euro range. However, the parties agreed on confidentiality regarding the exact purchase price.

In the past, LPA has frequently worked together with Babcock & Brown on international transactions.
